The second male child of his parents and Born Akingbade Olawale, kingWalexy is one of Nigeria’s fast rising musicians breaking new grounds in the indegenous rap and Afro pop genre home and across boarder in Accra Ghana.
His sojourn into music began during his senior secondary school days in Abuja when he would hang around with mates to sing and freestyle while banging on the desk after classes, he claims to have never taken it serious until it seemed his mates in school and at home would randomly ask him to give them a dose of his indigenous rap lines and here he is today about to take the Industry by storm having rocked several stages, events and concerts.

KingWalexy moved from Abuja to lagos in 2012 to pursue his musical ambition and quickly released singles which immediately became street anthems, in 2016 kingWalexy relocated to Accra ghana where he is being managed as an artist under CMP Networks management company and has recently released two songs that are certified fan favorites “NEW DAY” (2016) and “FINE GIRL”(2017). With reviews from his recent songs, we can confidently say that kingWalexy has a great musical mind that goes beyond just one genre of music.
He looks up to great artists like 2face, wizkid, Dare art alade, Fela and is also a fan of the works of the late Dagrin.
Late 2017, kingWalexy came back to his childhood city and pulled off a sold out concert in his hood at Mpape Abuja alongside other guest artists and comedians from all over the country, a move which has had fans in Nigeria and Ghana craving more of his music and creativity.
Now Kingwalexy is fully prepared to wow his fans and more as he is set to drop yet another banger single he calls “BABY HOWFAR” produced by Ghanaian beat genius “Cashtwo” and this time with visuals directed by “king culture”.
